Let's talk about our basic needs. Air, water, shelter, food, clothes and procreation? Maybe add on internet.
Now, once they are fulfilled we tend to seek more of it or experiences that will give us joy or some sort of emotional fulfillment.
Do you really need what you think you need? Is it a need or a want? Obviously it's a want because you are still alive right now without it. It's not a matter of life or death. It is just the matter of quality of life. There's nothing wrong in expecting and living a higher quality of life.
You can but there's a borderline. When simple get complex it means you are crossing it.
Throw or giveaway all that you don't really need and stick with the most important things. Keep little clothes and things. Some call this minimalism. Maybe I would like to say it's essentialism? Keep and do things that matters only.
Keep your life simple. It's okay to live in a luxury but not right to live in extravagance.
Live a simple life and give more to people.
