Think Small to Get Promoted

You can be the smartest and the most hardworking in the room but if you are not people friendly, you ain't gonna make it to the top spot. A great product with a lousy packaging won't attract the buyers. Yes, when it comes to work, result matters but at the end of the day if you are not good with people how you can expect them to work happily with you?

They would be dying to kick you out as fast as they can. The only way for you to be open, intelligent and hardworking is to work in an environment and culture that is aligned with your values.

You can fake your intelligence and efforts but never your people skills. Even if you are not smart or hardworking, you can still win with your social skills by asking for help and being open for ideas or criticisms.

Think Small to get promoted. Focus a lot on people skills by helping your colleagues a lot apart from your work and naturally you will strengthen your skill over your job.

Serve people more at work. Don't think big but do something small such as following up on their tasks, giving inputs and even a cup of coffee would do.

It might take some time but surely you will get there.
